University of Nairobi reviews its online visibility

University of Nairobi Management comprising of the Deputy Vice-Chancellors and Heads of Departments from the Central Administration, met this morning to review the university’s online visibility and brand image.

The meeting was held at the Council Chamber and chaired by Prof. Henry Mutoro, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic Affairs.

University of Nairobi dons were as well asked to publish more in high impact journals to help the University increase its visibility in the online space. .

In the recent past, University of Nairobi has performed very well and has been ranked top in the country and number 6 in Africa in the webometrics rankings.

The University of Nairobi has recently been challenged by the President of Kenya, H. E. Uhuru Kenyatta to improve its web ranking visibility and these efforts are all geared towards the same.

University of Nairobi remains to be a world class university committed to scholarly excellence and is geared towards producing high caliber human capital, holistic graduates that will offer solution to the challenges facing out motherland.
